I help organizations identify the gap between operational performance and capacity for complex change. My Strategic Readiness Index (SRI) uncovers gaps and proposes action to mitigate areas of misalignment or capacity restrictions. My extensive executive leadership experience in public libraries and professional foresight training position me to guide organizations through uncertainty, growth, risk, and change.

I built and field tested this methodology inside one of the most operationally constrained sectors there is. Across 20+ years in the public library sector and 12+ years in executive leadership across Ontario, BC, and Alberta with budgets from $1M to $40M, I learned what separates a strategy that looks good on paper from one an organization can actually execute. That's the standard the SRI was built to meet: practical enough to survive real staffing and operational limits, rigorous enough to catch what performance metrics miss.
